Didn't start off too well, but what a finish!

Back-to-back weeks with personal bests. Inching closer to the elusive 300 - front 10 this time.

Started the first game with a split. Next 6 shots were right there, but all I had to show for it was a 9 pin, pocket 7-10, swishing 7 and a double. Got loose after that with 2 bad shots, one of which was a big 4. Seemed to find the shot again in the 10th, finishing strong to salvage a 179.

Built on that momentum with on-target shots to start the 2nd game. Had the front 4, but while on target, had 3 consecutive late 7-10's on the right lane go down. Left lane was solid, so felt pretty good with 9 in a row going into the 10th. 10th was flush, 11th a little light but still shredded it - unfortunately 3 pins jumped past the 10 as the 1 as a messenger went in front of it. New high game of 289!

Was feeling a little bit of a letdown early in the 3rd, plus it felt like I was getting carrydown on the right. Slowed down a bit and ripped the next 6 - finishing with a 243 and a second consecutive 700 series.

I'm not sure why the sudden surge, but I'm just going to try to ride it for as long as I can.
