Strange night. Lanes were very dry so I warmed up with spare ball and urethane. Opted for spare ball (Scream) since the Angle was leaving weak 10's

Unfortunately, I got more of the same with 6 more weak 10's. Spare shooting was good with only a single 10 pin whiff.

I was just a tad off in the first game, resulting in 5 straight single pin leaves. Finally managed a double and eeked out a 202.

Seemed like I was lined up to start the 2nd and started with the front 4. Couple more weak 10's though and I started messing around with speed to try to get a little more drive on the back end. On fill in 11th tried out HyRoad with success. 233, but it felt like a struggle.

Hyroad was probably way too much but I wanted to stop the weak 10 syndrome. If I kept speed up it worked - barely. Got lucky a couple of times too with shots that crossed over and a couple of high hits that carried. Just wasn't consistent enough with that shot, but did manage a 213.

One of the more unfulfilling 648 series I've ever had. Made me wonder if I should have stuck with urethane tonight?
