Interesting night. I had decided before I got there to hit my balls (Avalanche and Big One) with 4000 to knock the polish off, trying to get a more even reaction downlane. On my way out the door to the lanes, I set down my bag to lock the door, and heard a couple thuds. I hadn't zipped the top of the bag, and the Big One and Avalanche fell out onto my steps. Both got nice dings, not in the Track though. So they needed to be hit with the abralon pads anyway, which made the decision even easier. Took my newly surface-added balls back to the lanes, and... bone dry.

I was high man on the pair by over 40 pins with a 629, and it could have been a lot higher, if not for a couple bad shots and a couple bad breaks. I was the only one that could actually get in deep enough to handle the lanes - most of the rest of the bowlers were chucking it between 2nd and 3rd arrow and hoping for a Brooklyn. It felt good to be able to adjust to the conditions when no one else good, and bowl over my average.

Afterwards, we had the manager turn on the pair next to us. I had to make a 16 and 7 move right, and reduce my speed, to get lined up.
