Thought I was going to end up playing fall back. Still thinking I'm throwing on a sport shot and scared of out of bounds. There isn't one on THS. Well, not here at least.

Looks like you finally found something at the end there. It's amazing the things a sport shot does to a bowler, physically and mentally. Even when you get back to an easier shot, once your swing has tightened up, it takes a while to unlearn. Good job figuring it out this week - next week, you can start like that.

Thanks...just realized the other team was 3/4 folks I bowled with during the summer PBAx. Two, old teammate and guy who won, struggled as I did, and one shot fairly well (not great, still under 6) as he always shoots hard, straight up 15 w/small hook to pocket. Come to think of it, we all acted like we were back on the PBAx--easily 10-12 balls in the chairs around the pit. Lots and lots of switching. Taping. Removing tape. Changing tape. Drove my current team crazy.

You're absolutely right, though. Mindset was all back at the other league and have to shake it off for next week. At least the sport shot learnt me to throw my plastic straight at 99.9% spares.

BTW, I'll get back at the Community in a little while--work's got me on the beat down.
