Had a solid shot all day on both lanes although the right hand lane was a little tighter. I really had to watch my speed since even a little extra had a hard time coming back.

I struggled in practice, trying out a couple of different balls and different lines. I wasn't thinking good thoughts once we started since I wasn't getting the reaction I wanted due to a relatively heavy volume in the middle. Once I moved way left, it started to work. Interesting since this wound up being my best series of the fall/winter too.

First game I was in a groove. Started off with a double, then got a little unlucky leaving a 7 pin. Another double, before going a tad high in the 6th. Reeled off another 4, but left another 7 pin on a solid shot in the 11th for a 247.

Second game was shaky. Threw some good shots but my speed was a little off as was my aim. Wound up settling in on a different line on the right lane, but just made too many mistakes with 2 opens including a missed 10 pin for a 179.

Came back strong in the third with a 5-bagger that anchored a 236 effort for 662 series.

Good way to finish the season as my son did well also and we set the new highs for game and series.
