Our first ever session using all my new equipment (Dexter Turbo shoes and Freeze 14# RR ball.) Have never tried throwing a hook ball before, nor using a fingertip grip. Here goes!
Games
Game 1
Pair: 19-20
Nearly guttered my first ever roll with my first new ball ... SWEET! lol (Susie did too with her cool new leopard Viz-a-ball.) Really tried to start hooking it but ball wasn't reacting AT ALL. Finally resorted to my old straight-ish roll after it was clear I don't know what the hell I'm doing yet with release. Settled down and nearly finished with a turkey.
Game 2
Pair: 19-20
Another failed effort trying to learn a hook.
Game 3
Pair: 19-20
My "GAME OF NINES" ... (except for #7.) Ugh.
Last time trying to throw a hook for tonight.
Game 4
Pair: 19-20
Ok, here we go. Finding some control and St. Patty's Day festive green beers kicking in! :)
(Susie rolled her new high 133 this same game! Had to use a house ball as thumb hole is too small.)
Game 5
Pair: 19-20
The McCool's showed up (surprise!) Totally distracted.
Game 7
Pair: 19-20
New high game! (Odd scoring error in #7. Originally left the 5 pin, but the system registered a X. The only fix was to reset the entire frame, which I ended up going 7,2 leaving the 1,2,6. Might have even picked up the much easier spare for a 193? Oh well.)
