Maybe the changes from the lesson are starting to pay off. I hope so. Just concentrated on footwork and pushaway, once those are ingrained I'll work on the release and finish.

Hard to complain about a 634, but I definitely left a few makeable spares out there so it should have been 20 to 40 pins higher.

Pair: 5-6

  • 4) Pushed a little but it was slow enough to get back to the pocket in time.
  • 7) Just a little high.
  • 11) Dropped it just before the release.

Pair: 5-6

  • 1) Just great to start with a 10 pin miss.
  • 6) Everything's too far right.
  • 7) Moving right...hit just a fraction high but got away with it.
  • 8) Now I'm pulling it! Brooklyn.
  • 9) Perfect!

Started on 6. Around the 4th frame I was still hitting my mark but somehow the ball was still getting too far right. I used to pull it, the footwork and swing slot drills were supposed to fix that. Maybe I'm over fixing it?

Pair: 5-6

  • 1) Still pushing it right.
  • 3) Missing right so I moved right.
  • 4) Pulled it. Slid the spare ball right through the 10 hole.
  • 5) Yeah...
  • 6) Pull, Brooklyn, thanks.
  • 7) # 5 must be my good lane.
  • 8) A little too slow, got away with a high hit.
  • 9) High again.
  • 10) Finished with 2 opens. Grrr.
