Pair: 19-20

  • 1) Out in the dry early. Just botched the spare.
  • 2) Trip 4.
  • 3) Messenger took out the 4 on an errant shot. Think I drifted left.
  • 4) A bit of a splasher. Ball had a lot of lane to make up in the last 15 or so feet.
  • 5) Ball was on such a tight line that it couldn't deflect enough. Not sure why the 4 board miss left but the ball still got out enough to hold pocket.
  • 7) Actually my best ball of the night so far.
  • 8) A bit weak, sat in the oil a little too much.
  • 9) Just a really bad release. Maybe early rotation. Though I was going to gutter the spare but the ball caught and came back.
  • 10) Looks like I'm spinning the ball some.
  • 11) Trying to not spin the ball I get it wide down lane. Spare was just a little off for getting the 8 pin.

Pair: 19-20

  • 1) Came up short on the slide and pulled through it. Spare shot my foot stuck as well.
  • 2) Not sure, but all of a sudden missing inside big time. Spare shot just hooked away from the 5.
  • 3) Of course it's a better shot but leaves a 10 pin.
  • 4) Somehow held pocket. Maybe drift left, or body alignment.
  • 5) Another good one.
  • 6) Just a terrible release. Was surprised it even touched the head pin.
  • 7) Stood up on the release, but think I would have missed left regardless. It just made the ball react a little more.
  • 8) That I'm almost certain was the body alignment. I just felt I was to square to the line in set up and even tried to move the body but just didn't get it set good.
  • 9) Kind of stuttered in the approach and I'm coming out of the ball flat.
  • 10) Thinking I'm having issues clearing the thumb and only option would be taking the Magic Carpet out. I might be gripping a little too for some reason.

Pair: 19-20

  • 1) Brooklyn. After struggling getting the ball out, or even cleanly off the hand I moved to straighten up my line the end of last game, just pulled through this shot.
  • 2) Just in the dry a little early. And with the screaming backends tonight that's not going to give good results. It was a better release than most of last game though.
  • 3) Tried this line again but ball held up on thumb. Don't think I got all of the water off after coming back from the restroom.
  • 4) Now that works, just gotta keep doing it like that.
  • 5) Brooklyn. Not sure, maybe pushed the ball away a little too soon.
  • 6) Ball slipped off thumb early, but still not the reason it was left at the arrows.
  • 7) That's what happens when you get the ball out.
  • 8) Weak 10 pin, ball in the oil a little too long. Spare ball slide off hand too early and I missed a couple of boards inside.

Despite multiple issues with my game tonight I seemed to be able to put up a good set. I was also the only person at league from my team tonight. One had to work, one had playoffs for his pool league and the other two went snow tubing. All but the guy that had pool pre-bowled at least.
