Retro night tonight. These lanes have been getting progressively drier as we've gone along. Even my usual "spare" ball was too much so I brought my 1983 vintage Angle out and had a pretty good night.

It was looking a little shaky at first with an easy miss and 2-10 through 5 frames. Got on a roll with the next 6 to finish with a 224.

2nd game was strange as I just couldn't get any carry. Frames 2-7 were a weak 10, strike, weak 10, ringing 10, swishing 7 and stone 9. Spare shooting was on the mark and I did finally manage a double to squeak out a 206.

Game 3 was almost the opposite with crazy carry on 6 of the first 7. Coming into the 10th had a possible 258 but lost speed in the 10th and left a 4-6-7 and promptly dumped it to finish at 222.

I'll take a 652 on these bone dry conditions anyday.
