Another dry night. I knew I was in for a tough time when my first practice shot with my usual spare ball came back from about the 3 board in the last 15 feet to crush the pocket. I'm not comfortable with that shot since it usually means lots of splits so I immediately went urethane again and had a decent shot with the exception of some speed problems in the second game and bad spare shooting.

I seem like a broken record lately, but after struggling for the first few frames, I suddenly locked in and reeled off the next 5. Bad miss on a 2-8 in the 10th resulted in a 212.

Felt pretty good coming into the 2nd game, but my speed became erratic. Another 2-8 miss, big 4 and whiff on a 10 pin resulted in a lousy 158.

Came back in the 3rd though with 11 good shots that all had a good chance for a strike. 8 were strikes with 2 10 pins and a 4 pin for the other 3 - 238.

Almost eeked out my average, but not quite with a 608.

Overall happy with my performance on the conditions we've been seeing lately, but it would be nice to see some oil again someday soon!
