Can't buy a double, let alone a turkey or hambone. Same story, just about always in/around the pocket, and I'm making some strikes, just can't seem to string them together. Two nights and 6 games on the same pair and I think I had two doubles. Sometimes it's the 10 pin, sometimes the 4 or 7 (or both). I did pick up the 1-2-4-10, the 1-2-8-10 and the 1-2-6-8-10 which amazed my teammates but was pretty much the same throw each time, just drop it next to the right gutter and let it work over to the left side of the headpin.
